PsysEx（サイセクス）：
京都の空間系電子音楽シーンを代表する電子音楽研究者、糸魚健一のユニット。いまや世界一となった某自動車メーカーにて、生産ラインを管理するスーパー・コンピューターのメンテナンス・エンジニアだったという異例の経歴を持ち、現在は京都サブ・カルチャーのメッカとして海外にも有名なクラブ「METRO」のマネージャーを務めている。1997年に立ち上げた自身のレーベルshrine.jpを拠点に様々な実験的音響作品を精力的に発表しながら、京都を中心とした若手アーティストたちを発掘、紹介する活動を続けている。自身は「マイスターであって、アーティストではない」と言い切るオリジナリスト。2002年11月、「Polyrhythm_system Exclusive Message」を発表。2003年、米国12Kのコンピレーション「TWO POINT TWO」に本人名義で参加。2005年2月、細野晴臣プロデュースdaisyworld discsより「Polyrhythm_system Exclusive Message iii」を発表。2005年10月、「Polyrhythm_system Exclusive Message 2」発表。2007年、世界初の温泉チルアウト作品・温泉コンピレーション「Over Flow」にてPsysEx名義での楽曲に加え、Firo、佐藤民男氏（民謡）らとのセッションを収録。OverFlow～鳴子温泉鳴響プロジェクトプロデュースに参画。2008年、自らのレーベルshrine.jp / Underground Galleryより「psx_vi」発表。涼音堂茶舗ではエンジニアとしても活躍。

PsysEx:
Investigates the structures of music, synthesis and software by programming ideas which introduce new synthesis theories and abnormal operation. The result is a very fragmented and "broken" sounding hybrid of minimalism and techno. Sharp rhythms and strange melodic hooks are constructed with tuned, but non-harmonic sounds.
Itoi, based in Kyoto, Japan, founded the experimental electronic label shrine.jp that fosters many young experimental artists in Kyoto. In addition to the creation of his stark form of techno, Itoi offers energetic live sets and organizes many events throughout Kyoto. In 2005 Feb.23, "Polyrhythm_system Exclusive Message iii" was released from daisyworld discs.

True of post electronica! The process of evolution --- from ”Polyrhythm_system Exclusive Message” (ryoondo-tea/2002) to ”Polyrhythm_system Exclusive Message iii” (daisyworld discs/2005) released by Haruomi Hosono. PsysEx reedits and remixes this dynamic process by his sense of various experiences.

坂本龍一「なぜか何度も聴きたくなります。なぜだろう？」
Les Rendez-vous de Tokyo：
西麻布のフレンチレストラン『Les Rendez-vous de Tokyo』開店2周年を記念した音源。
タイトルは店名と同じ『Les Rendez-vous de Tokyo』。ひとことでいうと、恋をしたくなる（？）アルバムです。
お店のなまえは、エリック・ロメールの『パリのランデブー（Les Rendez-vous de Paris）』にちなみました。
“Rendez-vous”ということばは、「待ち合わせ」とか「デート」という意味のフランス語。
「別の軌道を持つ宇宙船同士が宇宙空間で接近すること」を表す宇宙航空用語でもあります。
カップルや友だちが集い、知らない同士が最接近するような場所になれればいいなと名付けました。
もちろんロメールの、あの恋愛コメディも大好き。
そんなお店のサウンドトラックです。
といっても、既存のおしゃれサウンドの詰め合わせではありません。
すべてuhitokiyosueさんによるオリジナル。
2月と3月の3日間、『Les Rendez-vous de Tokyo』でライブレコーディングされた12曲です。
ここに、映画のラブシーンに流れるような甘いメロディーはありません。ノイジーで抽象的な音の連なり。
そんな心を奪わない音楽だから、むしろ、目の前のお皿とワインとステキな誰かに目を向けられる――。
耳を澄ませば、お皿やグラスのカチャカチャという音。居合わせた人たちのざわめき。
お店でも流してます。でも、音楽が流れていることを意識させません。
逆に、部屋でひとりで聴くと、そこに人の営みを感じてしまいます。
“フレンチっぽいかわいさ”を期待されると困りますが、とても居心地のいいアルバムになりました。

uhitokiyosue：
シカゴ音楽院にてPatricia Moreheadに作曲を、バークリー音楽院にてCsoundで知られるRichard Boulangerに音響合成を学ぶ。
シカゴ、ニューヨーク、マイアミなどを拠点に活動。
ラップトップ・アーティストとしてTV PowやJason Solidayと共演するほか、レコーディング・エンジニアとしてBlack SheepやToday's My Spaceout Dayの録音/ミックスを手がける。
また「ポスト・ケージアン」を自称し、現代におけるプロセスとしての作曲を実践。ソフトウェア作品も多数。2003年より、Koutarou Fukuiとオンラインレーベル、on;(do)を運営。Jake ElliottやAram Sheltonなどの作品を意欲的にリリースを続ける。
抽象音楽のみならず、HIPHOPにも造詣が深く、Meswy、Mick Bolgardなどの海外アーティストのリミックスも多く手がけている。

“Les Rendez-vous de Tokyo”, a french restaurant in Nishi-Azabu, Tokyo, proudly announces a CD release in celebration of its second anniversary, titled as the same as the restaurant, “Les Rendes-Vous de Tokyo”. The music is not a compilation of smooth music, which is what you expect of a restaurant CD. Instead, the music is composed and compiled by uhitokiyosue from the live-recordings that were held in the restaurant. There are no melodies that you would hear in romantic movies, but series of soft, abstract sounds, which will not take away your mind from the food and wine.
“All you need is rendez-vous, i.e. I live my life always appreciating the encounters with people that I am blessed with. I used to be a high-school girl who would spend hours in a cafe day-dreaming. The dream I had back then was to one day start a salon where wonderful people gather in. Fifteen years have past, with many encounters with good people and now my dream has come true. Now many people come to my restaurant, bringing their stories to each table each day. For them I make the place, I light the overhead lamp, wash dishes, prepare food and select wine. and then I thought it would be an idea to have the own music for the restaurant. Now that I release this CD, I hope that this will bring many new encounters to me.”

the firefly clan:
ツシマ トシヒトによる音楽プロジェクト。ブルースからインスパイアされたヴォーカルと独創的なギター、エスニックな打楽器、ミニマルなドラムマシン、即興から生まれた歌詞を融合したサウンド。音源はアナログ録音されており、曲のボーダーレス性を追求し続ける音楽スタイル。
2006年発売、安田寿之プロデュースコンピレーション「-MONOPHONIC-ENSEMBLE-」収録の「raindoctor」は大きな話題を呼び、同年のSonarsound Tokyoでもソロライブを行った。
ツシマ トシヒト:
1973年生まれのマルチミュージシャン。9歳の時にギターを始め、ルーマニア、横浜、ニューヨーク、ハンガリー、イギリス、吉祥寺などで育つ。1994年にアメリカ西海岸にあるGITへ音楽留学。
GIT卒業後は the firefly clan（ファイヤフライクラン）という名義でブルース的なギター、エスニックな打楽器、ミニマルなドラムマシン、アナログ録音などを基調とした独自の音楽スタイルを追求し始める。
帰国後の1997年以降は、インド、バングラデシュ、バリ島など世界各地を旅する中モロッコで出会ったグナワ音楽に深く傾倒し、その文化をはじめマラケシュの著名な師匠であるHassan Zoughariから譲り受けたギンブリ（ベース三味線とでもいうべき楽器）の虜になる。
2001年からは、個人でワークショップも行う。モザンビークや韓国などへも短い旅をし、2005年からは沖縄県在住。ワークショップに加えて、時には基地内のイベント、県内各地でライブ活動なども行っている。

the firefly clan、1996～2010年の作品を、MEGADOLLYレーベル代表で音楽家の安田寿之が選曲／マスタリングしまとめた2枚のアルバム。
「Sun and Rain」はメロディアスなヴォーカル曲、「Nothing, Everything」はよりディープで実験性もある「濃い」インスト曲、を中心にそれぞれコンパイル。
帰る場所がないことを悟った人間が音楽に故郷を見出す、という設定のサウンドトラック集。

the firefly clan:
Toshihito Tsushima's musical project fusing blues-inspired vocals, creative guitar, world-beat percussions, minimum electronic beats, and abstract lyrics. The songs often crossover the boundaries of musical styles and in addition to that, all tracks were recorded on analog recording equipment.
In 2006, the song "raindoctor" received a lot of attention through a compilation album produced by Toshiyuki Yasuda titled "-MONOPHONIC-ENSEMBLE-" and "the firefly clan" successfully performed in the event Sonarsound Tokyo of that same year.
Toshihito "Toshi" Tsushima:
Born in 1973, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and vocalist, Toshihito Tsushima had started guitar when he was 9 and grew up in Romania, Yokohama, New York, Hungary, England, and Tokyo. From 1994, Toshi attended GIT, Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California.
After graduating Musicians Institute, Toshi started pursuing a style of music fusing blues-inspired guitar, world-beat percussions, minimalist electronic beats and analog recording equipment under the name "the firefly clan".
Returning to Japan in 1997, he traveled to India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, and in Morrocco, he met up with the Gnawa musicians and was heavily influenced by their music and culture. This was when he acquired the Guimbri from the renowned Hassan Zoughari, deeply immersing himself in Gnawa music.
From 2001, he started to hold his own workshops, traveled some more to Mozambique, Korea and then moved to Okinawa in 2005. In addition to teaching, he occasionally plays events on and off base in Okinawa.
Sun and Rain, Nothing, Everything:
A double-album collection of "the firefly clan" recordings that span over a decade from 1996 to 2010 compiled and mastered by Toshiyuki Yasuda, representative of Megadolly Label and also a musician himself.
"Sun and Rain" features melodious vocal songs, "Nothing, Everything" focuses on the more experimental and deeper instrumental tracks.
A soundtrack collection for all individuals who have come to the realisation that their home is neither here nor there but "where the music is".

Wonderer：
越境する最前衛ピアニスト岡野勇仁、ブラジル音楽からフリー即興まで幅広い活躍を展開する助川太郎、圧倒的な歌唱力で注目を集める行川さをりの3人からなる日本発の宇宙的ブラジル音楽トリオ。
スタンダードなブラジル音楽を題材にしながらもフリー即興やエレクトロニクスを交えて展開する音世界は、地球にやってきた宇宙人の意味を持つバンド名さながらに宇宙的でトランシー。楽曲の骨子はそのままに展開される3人のフリー即興は、古代の宗教的世界観を思わせる全く独自の世界である。

誰もが知っているイパネマの娘をWonderer風にアレンジしてのスペーシーな演奏。岡野勇仁がまず原曲のコード進行と違うコード進行にアレンジ。前半はファンク的な刻みによる展開、後半はテンポもコードもない部分やノイズを音楽として構築していく展開、と違う世界を楽しむことができる。助川太郎の心地よいカッティング、行川さをりのスキャット的アプローチも聴きどころ。
02. Caminho das Águas (Rodrigo Maranhão / Maria Rita)
サンバやボサノヴァとは違うブラジルの北東部的リズムによる大地を思わせる楽曲。ピアノとギターのしっかりと噛み合ったリズム、のびやかな行川さをりの歌唱が、郷愁を感じさせる広がりのあるサウンドをつくり出す。ソロ部分は、ビリンバウ的な助川太郎のギター、岡野勇仁のジャズ的なアプローチにエレクトロニクスが加わるまさにWonderer的な不思議空間である。
03. A Rã (Joao Donato / Caetano Veloso)
蛙の鳴き声をそのまま歌詞にしたような楽曲。カリンバ、口琴、オタマトーンなどを交えた、Wondererの真骨頂とも言える自由な即興演奏を存分に味わえる演奏である。自由ながらも曲の構成、雰囲気を感じさせる即興演奏におけるバランス感覚もWondererの特徴と言えるだろう。曲の終わりではスペインの名曲「アルハンブラの思い出」のコラージュも登場。
04. Luiza (Antonio Carlos Jobim) / Quem te viu, quem te vê (Chico Buarque)
岡野勇仁のコンテンポラリージャズを思わせるフリーな前奏に、そのまま行川さをりの歌唱がのっかってくるルイーザ。複雑なリズムとルバートでお互いに呼応しながら、曲をすすめていく技術力の高さは他では聴けない独自の世界。メドレーで演奏されるQuem te viu, quem te vêはペルシャ的な雰囲気を感じさせながら歌、ピアノ、ギター、エレクトロニクスが渾然一体となって、押し寄せる圧倒的な演奏である。
